Die casting products are widely used in electronics, automobiles, motors, household appliances and other industries. Vertex aluminum alloy die castings have the following advantages:
1. Excellent machining performance: fast cutting extruded zinc aluminum alloy is easy to be cut (turning, milling, pulling, planing, drilling, etc.), and its comprehensive performance is close to that of lead brass, so it is reputed as "white brass". This alloy can be used for cutting with higher cutting speed and deeper cutting depth. The chip is easy to break. The tool wear is equivalent to that of 60/40 brass. The finish and precision of the machined parts are high. The processing efficiency reaches more than 75% of lead brass. The parallel connection with the existing brass processing technology is barrier free. The blank can be directly electroplated or passivated without special treatment.
2. The surface treatment effect of Vertex aluminum alloy castings is good: zinc aluminum alloy die-casting is suitable for various electroplating processes, including copper, nickel, chromium, tin, silver and ternary alloys. The finished products are free of pits and bubbles. The surface finish is very similar to that of copper plated products. There is no obvious corrosion phenomenon after 48 hours of neutral salt spray test, and the finished electroplating rate can reach more than 98%.
3. Good conductivity: the conductivity is similar to that of H62, and the conductivity is more than 28% (IACS), which is higher than that of ordinary lead brass such as H59. 4. High cost performance ratio: the material price is only about 60% of HPb59-1, and the material proportion is only about 70% of HPb59-1. The cost of the same finished workpiece is only 40% of the cost of lead brass when using fast cutting extruded zinc aluminum alloy materials.
